Since Michael made you all aware of who I am, I decided it might be a good time to, first of all, welcome you all to my journal, and second, say a little about myself.
Yes, I tend to be the quiet one, at least on the greater intrawebs. I spend most of my time in virtual environments, namely, Second Life and Inworldz.
You might ask what I do there...I create, first and foremost. I make buildings, art, avatar accessories such as tails, and other things as well. I also have a partner who roleplays a character, and that's all I'll say. They enjoy their privacy.
We built and run a club on one grid which hosts industrial, ebm, electronic, and other genres of alternative music. My partner is a DJ and I host. We also have a gig at another club, and I host by myself at a third, now and then.
I am a hardcore geek. I've always been into music, mathematics, computers, and the sciences. I suck at things like history, unless I can associate a story with the names and dates.
I am a writer, and have written many a short story, as well as excerpts from online roleplay, all the way back to the Free Form Roleplay heydays at AOL.
If any of you are active on either Second Life or Inworldz, say so and I'll see about meeting you. It's a great environment, even though some find it utterly intimidating. I think of it as the next step in social interaction as well as a great environment for self-discovery and creation.
I'm the webperson of the family, and recently upgraded Michael's main site to a Wordpress-based site. So far, so good :)
Yes, I am a witch, an Elder to be exact. My "formal" training was in Celtic Wicca, but by virtue of nature and maternity, I am a Hungarian Shaman.
Feel free to ask me anything...not sure where else to go with this, for now.
